J. Brooks
J. Brooks enters his ninth season working for Sea Gull Football radio broadcasts. He began as a spotter,
then was the sideline reporter, before moving up to the broadcast booth. Originally beginning his career
in his native Pennnsylvania, J. has worked in Radio, TV and print media in Delaware, Virginia,
Washington DC and for Delmarva Broadcasting in Maryland, hosting a national Sports Radio show
on SiriusXM and appearing on "Sports Talk". J. brings his enthusiasm and down to earth relateable
style to each and every game he does.
Phil Martin
Now in his fourth year as the color analyst for Sea Gull Football radio broadcasts, Phil "Coach" Martin had a stellar
21 year career as the Head Football Coach at Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland from 1982-2002.
His "Fightin' Knights" played for the NJCAA (JUCO) National Championship, in 1986 and 1990.
During his coaching stint at MC, numerous players transferred annd played at D-1 Schools, and seven players
went on to play pro ball. Phil also coached at Shenandoah University inWinchester,Virginia from 2003-2006.
Coach Martin was selected to the MC Athletic Hall of Fame, as well as the NJCAA Football Coaches Hall of Fame.
He brings a wealth of football knowledge and a coach's insight and perspective to the broadcast booth. |
